Black Oaks has been a revolving door centered around singer/songwriter Kristian Peterson.  Founded circa 2010 in Plymouth, NH, Black Oaks really took off when Peterson moved to South Tahoe in 2015.  With the newest member Sean Hodge, Black oaks has infiltrated the local live music scene in Tahoe. Hodge and Peterson were lucky enough to meet by chance and the rest has been musical bliss.  Playing together since the spring of 2016, Hodge and Peterson have really found their groove and continue to enjoy every performance opportunity that comes their way. Black Oaks sound is inspired by but not limited to classic rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, and jam bands.  Check them out at various locations in Heavenly Village on the weekends.
