Kristian moved from the White Mountains of New Hampshire to Tahoe in 2015 and has since established himself in Tahoe’s local live music scene.  This co-founder of Black Oaks has been playing guitar since childhood and has been influenced by his father’s musical taste and talents. Inspired by groups like The Devil Makes Three, The Grateful Dead, and Dispatch, he has been writing music since his middle school years.  Kristian’s choice of genres to cover includes blues, rock, folk, and bluegrass. His original music is dynamic but centers around a newgrass rock theme. Kristian loves all that Tahoe has to offer and is energized by the eclectic family of local musicians in this mountain town.  He partnered with Sean Hodge to continue the signature sound of Black Oaks Music.
